Announcement of the Business Council

On January 22, 2020 during the World Economic Forum in Davos took place very significant moment. The representatives of the biggest and most dynamic Central and Eastern European companies have signed a memorandum establishing the Business Council of Growing Europe.

The objective of the Council is to promote Central and Eastern Europe as an attractive destination for global investors and to present the region as a development hub of high technology, booming destination of investments in infrastructure, and renewable energy sources. According to the memorandum, the participants will organize joint events promoting the region, take part in panel discussions and meetings at leading economic conferences and events, participate in the activity of working groups, and partner with consultancies to prepare regional data.

Announcement of the Business Council was proceeded by the “FT/PZU Executive Breakfast Forum - Growing Europe: The Economic Vitality of Central and Eastern Europe” presented by PZU Group and Financial Times in partnership with Goldman Sachs, Google and Atlantic Council.
