Jan Zimowicz

A manager with nearly fifteen years of experience in Management Board Member roles or management positions at leading insurance companies and banks belonging to international groups such as Aegon, Nationale-Nederlanden and Credit Agricole. 

His areas of expertise are sales and marketing management, insurance product development, internal communications and PR. He has numerous experiences in implementing IT systems, creating strategies and leading acquisition processes. In his professional work, he combines comprehensive education and skills from different industries, including finance, technology and consulting, gained in leading global organizations.

Author of numerous publications in industry media and participant in multiple panel discussions as well as member of the Insurance Forum Program Board. He has extensive expert knowledge and experience in insurance market rules, laws and supervisory guidelines. As Aegon’s long-standing representative to the PIU, he is a regular participant in the PIU’s Life Insurance Committee and has extensive experience in cooperating with the Office of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA Office). For his contribution to the development of the insurance market and his dialogue with the PFSA Office, he was awarded the 2020 PIU Award.

He holds an Executive MBA with distinction awarded by the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and HEC Paris, London Business School, NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Moreover, he is a graduate of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the Warsaw University of Technology.

Privately a dad of three daughters, he is passionate about running, cycling and alpine skiing.
