Tomasz Tarkowski

From 2007 to 2011, as a member of the PZU Ukraine Management Board, he was responsible for the areas of claims handling, product management and risk assessment. He then joined the Management Board of PZU and PZU Life Życie and headed the claims and benefits handling division. He was also CEO of Link4 for several months in 2016.

In the following years he worked, among others, for ERGO Hestia, where he was responsible for the implementation of modern solutions in the claims handling process in ERGO companies in Poland and the Baltic States, and then managed ControlExpert Polska, a company providing services and technologies for claims handling.

Since April 2022, he has served as Managing Director at UNIQA TU and UNIQUA TU na Życie SA responsible for the Claims and Benefits Division covering also the area of recovery of recourse claims and handling of litigation.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology and the School of Insurance and Banking. He also completed postgraduate studies in “Road Traffic Safety” at the Military University of Technology, “Economic Insurance” at the Cracow University of Economics, “Psychology of Personnel Management” at the University of Warsaw, and the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School.

In accordance with the statement made by Mr Tomasz Tarkowski, after his appointment to the PZU SA Management Board, he will not engage in any activities competitive to the Company, nor will he participate in a competitive company as a partner in a civil-law partnership, partnership or as a member of a body of a competitive capital company or a member of a body of any competitive legal entity, nor is he entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the provisions of the Act of 20 August 1997 on the National Court Register.
